THE BASICS
We gather every Sunday
WHAT TO EXPECT
Parking and Entering
Worship Service 10-11am
As you enter the auditorium you’ll hear upbeat praise music. Feel free to just sit and listen or to meet and greet others. The service lasts an hour and will include singing and a sermon, and sometimes things like a solo, video clip, testimony, short drama, etc. Our music is a blend of traditional hymns and contemporary choruses, led by a small praise team. The sermon is in-depth Bible teaching using the NIV translation of the Bible. We encourage people to bring their own Bibles, but some are also supplied in the pew racks.
We do not ask visitors to stand up or introduce themselves or receive a gift, etc.
We welcome you to stay for Sunday School at 11:15am
What if I Have Kids?
If you have children Prek-5th grade you would like to check into our children’s program, you will take the stairs downstairs, walk through the double doors and take a left. The check-in table will be right there, and someone will direct you to the appropriate aged classrooms. There is a nursery for children under two upstairs. 6th grade and older are in the main service with the adults.
What Should I Wear?
You will see people dressed in anything from jeans and a T-shirt to a shirt and tie. Some like wearing dresses, others prefer to keep it simple on Sundays. Most people fall somewhere in the middle, wearing pants and a nice shirt.
OTHER SUNDAY SERVICES
If you are interested in attending our other services, here is what you can expect
Lord’s Supper Service
8:45-9:30am
Sunday School
11:15-12pm (Sept-June)
If you have K-5 children, after children’s church during the 10am hour, they will move to smaller classrooms downstairs for more focused age-specific teaching time. Your PreK children will stay in their classes.
There is typically one adult class that will meet either in the “overflow room” at the back of the auditorium or at the front of the auditorium. Instead of expository preaching like the sermon, the classes tend to be topical and geared towards issues of discipleship, Christian living, evangelism, apologetics, etc.
